Wine About History: Sheep Wagon History

Wednesday, July 17, 2019

6:00 pm -
7:00 pm

100 Fort Street
Buffalo, WY 82834

Wine About History is the Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum’s summer program mini-series.  The third Wednesday of June, July, and August meet on the museum’s lawn with your folding chair and beverage of choice to listen to a local expert give a quick history of an area topic.  There will be time for discussion and q&a also.

Looking for things to do?  Check out the farmers markets downtown at Crazy Woman square on Wednesday afternoon, then attend our fun program, then get dinner at one of Buffalo’s many restaurants!  Evening Planned.

Speakers: Dollie Iberlin and Bill Novotny.  They will share information and stories about building, restoring, and living in sheep wagons.  Sometimes called the predecessor to the modern RV, sheep wagons played (and continue to play) a vital role in Johnson County’s agricultural history.
