Wine About History: Lakota Cheyenne History on the Bozeman Trail

Wine About History is the Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum’s summer program mini-series.  The third Wednesday of June, July, and August meet on the museum’s lawn with your folding chair and beverage of choice to listen to a local expert give a quick history of an area topic.  There will be time for discussion and q&a also.

Looking for things to do?  Check out the farmers markets downtown at Crazy Woman square on Wednesday afternoon, then attend our fun program, then get dinner at one of Buffalo’s many restaurants!  Evening Planned.

Speakers: Donovin Sprague, Minnicoujou Lakota and descendant of Hump and Crazy Horse. He is a faculty member in the History Department at Sheridan College, Wyoming. Donovin also is an author, historian, artisan, and musician. He is a consultant to the Smithsonian National American Indian Museum and the new Museum of Westward Expansion under the archway at St. Louis, Missouri
