You may have heard …  the bugle in our collection which may have been that belonging to and used by Adolph Metzger during the Fetterman Fight of 1866 is in the running for the top ten artifacts in Wyoming!  Learn more about the artifact competition by using the link below and vote for your favorite ten out of the possible twenty five.

Annual History Conference

The annual history conference for 2016 is Early Businesses of Buffalo and will be held on the evening of Saturday, April 16.

Businesses featured will be the Idlewild Hotel, the New York Store, and the Idlewild Café

Tickets are available until April 8 by calling us at (307) 684-9331 or emailing educator Jennifer Romanoski by clicking here

Tickets are $30.00 per person and include the conference fee, vhealthportal.com, beverages, dinner, and dessert.

Echoes of the Past Cemetery Tours

Mark you calendars,  our annual Echoes of the Past Cemetery Tours are scheduled for the following dates:

 

August 5, 6, 7, and 8

and then again on

August 12, 13, 14, and 15

 

These tours always sell out – if you want to RSVP your spot on the tour, call Jennifer at 307-684-9331.  Spots must be pre-paid (sorry, we can’t hold any spaces due to popularity) and this can be done at the museum.

Living History Day

Jim Gatchell’s Living History Day will be on Saturday, June 20.
